80227 is the BAK Revolver X4s Hard Roll-Up Tonneau Cover sized for the 2019-2026 Ram 1500 with a 5'7" bed. It is a hard roll-up, so the bed opens by rolling the cover toward the cab instead of folding panels.
It builds on the Revolver platform with upgraded materials, better weather protection and an all-matte black finish.
On a Ram the bed is meant to be used, and a cover that locks, seals and still opens fully helps you use it.
Low profile, tight seals. The cover sits nearly flush with the bed rails, and flush-fitting side seals plus an integrated bulkhead seal help keep water and dust out of the bed.
No seams on top. The surface is a single piece of aluminum-reinforced TriShield 70-grade vinyl over interlocking aluminum slats rated for 400 lb evenly distributed. The slats, clamps and hardware are matte black to match.
Quick to open. Roll the cover toward the cab with PrecisionRoll technology, strap it down with the integrated safety straps, and use the full bed with the rear window and factory cameras unobstructed.
Slash resistant and locked by default. Patented rotational locking rails and automatic slam latches work with the aluminum slat design to resist prying, slicing and forced entry.
Check before you buy: It is not compatible with the multifunction tailgate. Also match the bed length shown in the fitment line above.
The BAK 80227 gives you locking, slash-resistant coverage when the bed is closed and a clear bed when it is rolled up, backed by a five-year limited warranty. Get it from Track Ready Products.
No drill, no cut. Vehicle-specific clamps and hardware come with the cover, and the install usually takes less than an hour.
Wipe down the rails, seat the cover, then snug the clamps a little at a time on both sides so it pulls down square. Test the latch and the open and close action while the bed is still empty. Remove the Ram TRX bed bar before you start.
Care is simple: mild automotive soap and water for cleaning, a clamp check after about a week and periodically afterward, the cover secured whenever the truck is moving, and snow and ice cleared before you open it.
