226201 is the BAKFlip G2 Hard Folding Tonneau Cover sized for the 1994-2001 Ram 1500 and 1994-2002 Ram 2500/3500 with a 6'6" bed. The hard panels protect your cargo from weather and prying eyes, and the folding design opens the bed in one move.
BAK's BAKFlip G2 is a clamp-on hard folding cover with solid-core aluminum panels, a sealed perimeter and automatic slam latches, built for owners who want real cargo security without a complicated install.
Ram owners tend to work the bed hard, and a cover that protects the load without limiting what you can haul does the job.
A sealed perimeter with somewhere for water to go. The EPDM seals hug the bed rails, and the drainage system gives rain and runoff a path that does not run through your cargo area.
Open it when you need it. Release the cover, fold the panels toward the cab, and the whole bed is available for lumber, bikes, gear or a load of mulch. The cover never has to leave the truck to give you the space.
Strength without the weight. Aircraft-grade aluminum skins over a solid core give the panels their rigidity, and the semi-gloss black powder coat stands up to fading and chipping. The low-profile fit looks clean on the truck, built-in struts keep the folded cover from rattling against the cab, and the load rating is 300 lb evenly distributed.
Security without extra steps. Automatic slam latches lock the panels as they close, and the hard aluminum-skinned panels keep cargo out of sight and out of easy reach.
Assembled in the USA and backed by BAK's three-year limited warranty, the G2 is a straightforward way to put a hard, lockable lid on your truck. Order the BAK 226201 from Track Ready Products, and match the bed length shown above before you check out.
No drilling and no cutting. The cover clamps to the bed rails and the kit and hardware ship in the box, so with basic hand tools most installs take about 30 minutes or less.
Wipe down the rails, seat the cover, then snug the clamps a little at a time on both sides so it pulls down square. Test the latch and the open and close action while the bed is still empty.
After the first week of driving, recheck the clamps and retention hardware for tightness, and check them again now and then. Wash with mild automotive soap and water, keep the cover secured at all points while driving, and clear snow and ice before opening.
