The Mishimoto MMOC-19-K is a universal 19-row oil cooler kit with dual 5 in slim fans on a shroud, arriving fully assembled. It is meant for cars, trucks and race builds where airflow is limited.
The aluminum core is 8.74 x 5.28 x 2.0 in with about 0.32 qt capacity. Each of the two fans moves up to 300 CFM. Inlet and outlet are female 7/8-14 ORB, and two -10AN fittings come included, along with brackets and hardware. The whole assembly measures 12.99 x 8.13 x 5.04 in. Mishimoto backs it with a lifetime limited warranty for the original purchaser (receipt required).
Universal coolers reward a little planning. Choose a mounting spot with airflow and enough room for the lines, mock up the hose routes with string before you cut anything, and make sure the cooler will not rub on bodywork or suspension parts. The cooler and lines hold oil of their own, so top the engine up after the first start and recheck once everything is hot. Choose hoses and fittings that match the port size shown, and consider a thermostatic sandwich plate for cold-weather driving so warm-up is not slowed down.
Mishimoto lists the install as easy. Order the Mishimoto MMOC-19-K from Track Ready Products and keep your oil, and your engine, in its happy temperature range.
It arrives assembled. Lines are not mentioned in the kit.
Wire the fans with a relay and fused feed.
Flush the new cooler with about a quart of clean oil before you plumb it in, so no manufacturing debris ends up in the engine.
