The Mishimoto MMOC-F2D-11KSL is a front-mounted oil cooler kit for the 2011 to 2019 Ford 6.7L Powerstroke. It replaces the factory liquid-to-liquid cooler with a big bar-and-plate unit up front, so engine oil sheds heat to the airstream rather than the coolant.
The 17.4 x 7.5 x 2.5 in core is fed by stainless braided -16AN lines, with a CNC aluminum adapter plate and seals, a coolant bypass hose, worm-gear clamps and oil cooler and line brackets. Mishimoto cites about a gallon of added oil capacity and lower oil and coolant temperatures, and ships new O-rings.
This is a medium job. The bumper fascia must be trimmed and the front plate relocated, and the adaptive cruise sensor bracket needs modification if your truck has it. In cold climates or with a PTO, keep an eye on temperatures. Mishimoto backs it with a lifetime limited warranty for the original purchaser (receipt required). Pick up the Mishimoto MMOC-F2D-11KSL at Track Ready Products and give your drivetrain the cooling it has been missing.
Budget time for trimming the bumper fascia and relocating the front plate.
If your truck has adaptive cruise, its sensor bracket has to be modified. Flush the cooler with a quart of clean oil before use.
Torque the AN fittings and banjo bolts to 15 to 25 lb-ft and never past 35 lb-ft, then recheck for leaks and tightness after the first few miles.
