Part 448505 brings BAK's BAKFlip MX4 design to the 2004-2015 Nissan Titan with a 5'7" bed. It is a hard folding tonneau cover, so you get lockable cargo protection and a bed that opens up when the job needs it.
The BAKFlip MX4 is BAK's step-up folding cover. This Gen 3 version adds stronger panels, a tighter seal and a re-engineered auto-latch.
Titan owners want a cover that locks the load down and still gives the whole bed back on demand.
Heavy-duty where it counts. Multi-layer aluminum panels, a high-density polymer core and precision-engineered side rails make this Gen 3 cover 22% stronger than the original MX4, with a 400 lb evenly distributed load rating.
Edge-to-edge sealing. New EPDM perimeter seals and tight-fitting clamps reduce seepage at the bed rails, the dual-action tailgate seal is 13% longer on most applications, and built-in water drainage moves moisture out of the way.
A low, tidy profile. Textured matte black on every component and a flush fit with the rails make the cover look like it belongs on the truck.
It locks itself. Close the cover and the latch engages. Gen 3 uses redesigned latching panels and lock hardware that BAK built to resist forced entry better than the Gen 2 design.
Open the bed, keep the cover. Drop the tailgate, release the rear latch, and fold the cover up against the cab for 100% bed access, even for large cargo. Re-engineered prop rod clips hold it open, premium rubber bumpers protect the cab and the cover, and the third brake light stays visible in every position.
The BAK 448505 brings Gen 3 strength, sealing and auto-latching to your bed. It carries a five-year limited warranty, is assembled in the USA, and ships from Track Ready Products.
Bolt-on, click-in mounting keeps the install simple: one person, basic hand tools, usually 30 minutes or less, and the hardware is in the box.
Clean the bed rail caps first so the seals sit on a clean surface, set the cover in place, and tighten the clamps evenly from side to side. Work the cover open and closed once before you load the bed.
After the first week of driving, recheck the clamps and retention hardware for tightness, and check them again now and then. Wash with mild automotive soap and water, keep the cover secured at all points while driving, and clear snow and ice before opening.
