The Mishimoto MMOC-10-8BK is a universal 10-row stacked-plate oil cooler with -8AN inlet and outlet fittings and a black powder coat. It suits custom builds that need to cool engine oil, transmission fluid, gear oil or power steering fluid.
The brazed -8AN ports are on a core measuring 12.95 x 1.97 x 3.8 in, designed for low pressure loss, with eight universal mounting holes. Hoses and fittings are sold separately. Mishimoto backs it with a lifetime limited warranty for the original purchaser (receipt required).
A universal cooler fits whatever you build around it, so measure first. Find a spot with fresh airflow, such as behind the bumper opening or beside the radiator, leave room for the lines to make gentle bends, and check that the core clears suspension travel and steering. The cooler and lines hold oil of their own, so top the engine up after the first start and recheck once everything is hot. Choose hoses and fittings that match the port size shown, and consider a thermostatic sandwich plate for cold-weather driving so warm-up is not slowed down.
If you want a -10AN port, the sibling MMOC-10BK uses that size. Order the Mishimoto MMOC-10-8BK from Track Ready Products and keep your oil, and your engine, in its happy temperature range.
Hoses and fittings are not included, so pick lines to match -8AN.
Use all eight mounting holes where possible.
Flush the new cooler with about a quart of clean oil before you plumb it in, so no manufacturing debris ends up in the engine.
