The Mishimoto MMOC-ULT is a universal thermostatic 19-row oil cooler kit with a user-replaceable thermostat, aimed at street and track engines that need warm-up as well as cooling.
The kit has a 19-row cooler (11 x 5.43 x 1.97 in), two stainless braided -10AN lines (4 ft and 5 ft), a billet anodized thermostatic sandwich plate with replaceable thermostat, Dowty seals, 3/4-16 UNF and M20 x 1.5 adapters and 1/8 NPT plugs. Spare thermostats rated 160, 185 and 200 F are sold separately. Mounting hardware is not included. Mishimoto backs it with a lifetime limited warranty for the original purchaser (receipt required).
Because this is a universal part, the install is yours to plan. Pick a location that sees real airflow, think about how the hoses will route from the oil filter housing or sandwich plate to the cooler, and keep them clear of exhaust parts and moving components. Plan on adding oil to cover the new cooler and lines, and check the level after the first heat cycle. Lines and fittings in the size shown in the specifications are needed to complete the circuit, and a thermostat is worth considering if you drive in cold weather so the oil still warms up quickly.
A universal thermostatic kit you can adapt. Order the Mishimoto MMOC-ULT from Track Ready Products and keep your oil, and your engine, in its happy temperature range.
Pick the thermostat temperature that suits your use.
Torque the AN fittings and banjo bolts to 15 to 25 lb-ft and never past 35 lb-ft, then recheck for leaks and tightness after the first few miles.
Provide your own brackets.
