The Mishimoto MMOC-SSO-17SL is a silver, 17 in same-side-outlet bar-and-plate oil cooler for any high-performance application. It is a universal cooler-only unit built for oil, coolant or transmission fluid in custom builds.
Cast aluminum end tanks are TIG welded to the bar-and-plate core (17 x 7.5 x 2.5 in), with turbulated fins and a capacity of about 1.95 qt. Two female -16 ORB ports sit on the same side, and eight M8 flush mounts with steel inserts take the brackets. A fan shroud is sold separately.
A universal cooler fits whatever you build around it, so measure first. Find a spot with fresh airflow, such as behind the bumper opening or beside the radiator, leave room for the lines to make gentle bends, and check that the core clears suspension travel and steering. Plan on adding oil to cover the new cooler and lines, and check the level after the first heat cycle. Lines and fittings in the size shown in the specifications are needed to complete the circuit, and a thermostat is worth considering if you drive in cold weather so the oil still warms up quickly.
