448329 is the BAKFlip MX4 (Gen 3) Hard Folding Tonneau Cover sized for the 2015-2020 Ford F-150 and 2017-2020 F-150 Raptor with a 5'7" bed. It is a hard folding tonneau cover, so you get lockable cargo protection and a bed that opens up when the job needs it.
As a Gen 3 BAKFlip MX4, this cover raises the load rating to 400 lb and improves the seals and latching.
The F-150 bed does a lot of different jobs. A hard cover protects the cargo on the way, and opens fully for the jobs that need the space.
It locks itself. Close the cover and the latch engages. Gen 3 uses redesigned latching panels and lock hardware that BAK built to resist forced entry better than the Gen 2 design.
Clean lines. Textured matte black covers the panels, rails and clamps, and the flush fit along the bed rails keeps the profile low.
Gen 3 strength. The top panels are multi-layer aluminum over a high-density polymer core and are 22% stronger than the original MX4, while precision-engineered aluminum side rails and frame keep the cover rigid. It is rated for 400 lb of evenly distributed weight.
Sealed against the weather. Revised EPDM rubber perimeter seals and tight-fit clamps close the gap between the cover and the bed rails, and the dual-action tailgate seal, available on most applications, is 13% longer than before. An integrated drainage system carries water away.
Full bed access without taking the cover off the truck. Fold it toward the bulkhead, let the prop rod clips hold it open, and load tall or bulky cargo. The bumpers keep the cab protected, and the third brake light stays visible whether the cover is open or closed.
Assembled in the USA and covered by a five-year limited warranty, the BAK 448329 is the Gen 3 upgrade for owners who want a stronger, tighter-sealing folding cover. Order it from Track Ready Products and check the bed length above.
The Gen 3 click-in mounting makes this a one-person job, typically 30 minutes or less, with no cutting, trimming or drilling on most trucks. Clamps and hardware are included.
Wipe down the rails, seat the cover, then snug the clamps a little at a time on both sides so it pulls down square. Test the latch and the open and close action while the bed is still empty.
After the first week of driving, recheck the clamps and retention hardware for tightness, and check them again now and then. Wash with mild automotive soap and water, keep the cover secured at all points while driving, and clear snow and ice before opening.
