Closed, the cover is held down by a multi-tiered RTxGrip hook-and-loop closure plus an automatic slam latch, and once it is rolled forward it stays put. TruXedo calls the TruXport its best-selling soft roll-up, updated to hold tighter than earlier versions.
The TruXport's factory-calibrated SureTension system does the tightening for you. It holds the vinyl taut across the whole bed, helps keep the edges from curling up, and never needs a manual adjustment, while built-in structural supports cut down on sag, pooled water and wind flap whether the cover is open or closed.
Plan on roughly half an hour. It clamps to the bed rails with the supplied vehicle-specific hardware and needs no drilling, cutting or other modifications.
Recheck the clamps after about a week of driving, and clean the vinyl with mild automotive soap and water only.
