The Antigravity AG-1201 is a compact motorsport lithium battery that stands in for a 16Ah lead-acid battery at a fraction of the weight. It holds 8Ah (16Ah lead-acid equivalent) and 102.4 Wh of energy. Antigravity's sizing guide puts it on race and track bikes up to 1500cc, custom builds up to 1200cc and four-cylinder race cars up to 1800cc.
You can mount it in any orientation, the terminals are all brass, and adhesive foam comes in the box. With no parasitic drain it can sit for up to about a year and still hold a charge, according to Antigravity. Cranking is rated at 360 peak cranking amps (CA).
This battery has no battery management system, so charging is balance charging only and it must go on a lithium-specific motorsport charger. Antigravity states it is for closed-course use and not for passenger cars, street automobiles or personal watercraft. It carries a 3-year warranty. Order the Antigravity AG-1201 from Track Ready Products and get your car, bike or race build on a lighter, lithium footing.
The foam pad is in the box. Secure the battery solidly, connect positive and then negative, and make sure the cables cannot chafe.
Keep it on a lithium charger. Antigravity points owners to the SC-4 Super-Charger rather than a conventional lead-acid maintainer.
Because there is no battery management system, the charging system must be healthy. Have the regulator and alternator checked before you install it.
Closed-course use only. This is not a street-car battery.
